Choose the format of mediation that works best for you
At Unified Mediation Services we offer several formats of mediation - virtual, in-person and hybrid (where both virtual and in-person formats are used). In virtual mediation parties can settle their disputes online without the need for in-person appearances. Virtual meetings are conducted by video or teleconference, and any form of document submission is facilitated through an encrypted, cloud-based platform accessible through the internet. The in-person mediation may be best suited for those parties that prefer a traditional style approach to resolving their dispute. In all formats, parties are not forced into a binding settlement. Instead, the mediator encourages and facilitates the parties to arrive at a mutually beneficial agreement that satisfies everyone involved.
Virtual
Our clients can choose a virtual mediation. This format is best for clients who do not reside local or where they would simply prefer the ease and comfort of a virtual setting.
In-Person
In-person mediations are best when there is an amicable relationship between all parties and where all parties reside in relative proximity to each other.
Hybrid (Virtual/In-Person)
Do you need a combination of virtual and in-person? If one party prefers virtual while the other prefers to be in-person, a hybrid approach is possible. The in-person party will meet in our office and the other party will meet in their chosen location.
